Click to Pay

Click to Pay is Mastercard's checkout service. The customer saves their cards once in a Click to Pay profile and then pays on any site that offers Click to Pay, without typing the card number.

On the Checkout payment page, Click to Pay appears as an extra way to pay by card. You do not change your integration.

Click to Pay works in Checkout only. It is not available in S2S CARD.

Before you start

Enabled for your account. Ask your account manager to set up Click to Pay for your account.
MID support. Payment Platform sends Click to Pay payments only to your MIDs (merchant IDs) that support Click to Pay. If none of them does, you get error 204022 Payment click to pay not supported. See the API error reference.

How it works

Send the Authentication request. You do not need any extra parameters.
The payment page offers Click to Pay to the customer.
The customer signs in to Click to Pay and selects one of their saved cards.
Payment Platform processes the payment as a card payment. You receive the result in the callback, as for any other card payment.
